Thornton Pits

Tuesday, May 14, 2013
Alt Names Thornton Pits, Arizona
Last Known Status Closed
DESCRIPTION
This was a small area of state trust land consisting simply of a large dirt play pit with scattered debris, some small jumps and a make-shift motocross track. Located across the road from Motogrande MX park, it was once an area where locals liked to play ride. Dry and dusty, however, this area is not available for legal riding and could be hazardous. We do NOT recommend riding at this area. (Also, please read our disclaimer notice at the bottom of each state list page).  Trail Map...  Directions...  Nearby Trails...
