This area offers miles of sandy woods trails that can be accessed directly from the Big Scrub Campground. There are no hookups at the campground however there are restroom and shower facilities. Nearby <a href="http://www.lakecountyfl.gov/hometown_highlights/alexander_springs.aspx" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Alexander Springs Recreation Area</a> offers year-round 72 degrees swimming holes.
