Located near Farmington, New Mexico, this large area consists of two regions. The southern entrance is located off of Glade Road and is a designated open area for all OHVs and consists mostly of large rocks and steep hill climbs. The northern staging areas provides access to over forty miles of desert trails that is open to dirt bikes, horseback and mountain bike riding. Vegetation is sparse and mainly consists of scrub brush and some juniper trees. The area is open year-round but may temporarily close during special events. There is no shade or water so come prepared.
