Located in the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, this area consists of one main OHV trail that is about 50 miles long with several short side loops. Most sections of the trail system is fairly smooth and hardpacked with several bridge crossings.

The trail system has three designated campgrounds that provide direct trail access. South Fork and Elk Creek Campground are located at the southern part of the trail system but also border a scenic river which boasts good fishing several hiking trails to explore. Oregon Campground provides access to the northern part of the trail system and also has a loading ramp.

1) US-26 north about 10 miles
2) Campground entrance is on the right (north).

For South Fork Campground:
1) Take Burnt River Road (County Road 600) west about 8 miles
2) Campground entrance is on the left (south).

For Elk Creek Campground:
3) Continue west past South Fork Campground about .5 miles
4) Campground entrance is on the left (south).
