A popular spot for the locals, this large area is open year-round and consists of rocky trails that wind through scattered juniper and sage brush. Overnight camping is allowed and there is ample parking to accommodate large trailers. Four new restrooms have been put in and there are plans in the future to install developed campgrounds and water.
