This area has about 40 miles of marked and rated ATV trails that form long loops. The trails offer scenic views of the surrounding valleys, sandstone bluffs and canyons with occasional petroglyph rock drawings.

The terrain mainly consists of dry, hard packed sandstone with occasional sand washes and rugged hill climbs. Camping is permitted at the main staging area but there are no services so come prepared.

Most of the trails are wide enough for ATVs but there are some side trails that can accommodate 4x4 vehicles.

The area is open year-round but the best time to visit is during the spring and fall months.
