Osceola National Forest

Thursday, August 25, 2016

Alt Names

Osceola Ranger District, Wiggins Campground, Seventeen Mile Campground

Last Known StatusOpen

This part of the Osceola National Forest offers miles of old forest service roads that are open to all OHVs. The area is popular with Jeeps and ATVs and is mostly flat. After a heavy rain most sections of the trails become waterlogged.

There is currently no designated staging area but the most popular place to access the trail system is off of Mount Carrie Road. Parking must be done on the side of the road and large trailers are not recommended.

Wiggins and Seventeen Mile Campground offer direct trail access and free primitive camping. Full RV hookups can be found at Ocean Pond Campground but there is no direct trail access so machines must be hauled to and from the trails.

There is no fee to ride but OHVs must be titled and registered.
