DESCRIPTION

The Kermit Sand Dunes area is open year-round and offers several staging areas to choose from. About 700 acres are owned and maintained by the West Texas Duners and in this region there are two staging areas and some primitive camping and riding is permitted for no fees.

The eastern side is owned by The Dunes at Kermit which owns about 1200 acres. Some fees are required to camp and ride in this part however amenities include electric and water hookups, restrooms, trees and carport shade. Whip flags are required and a waiver must be signed.
