DESCRIPTION
This small sand dune area has numerous side trails that lead to and from the main play area. The main staging area has loading ramps, vault toilets, picnic tables and shade ramadas and while it is RV accessible the staging area is very small and is not recommended for large vehicles. Camping is permitted as long as you pay for the next day.
ATV rentals are available at nearby River Breeze RV Resort. The resort offers both half day and full day rates plus personalized tour guides. The resort also has direct access to numerous miles of desert trails. For reservations call (928) 923-7483.
From: Ehrenberg, AZ
1) Take I-10 to Ehrenberg exit (exit 1)
2) Turn south off the exit ramp and go over bridge, veer right on Frontage Road
3) Continue about .3 miles, look for 10,000 Video Store on the left and turn here onto dirt road (if you go pass video store you've gone too far)
4) Continue about 1 mile. Main entrance is on the left.

There is a variety of terrain types here, primarily deep sand dunes surrounded by hard packed dusty trails.

The main pit is very large, but most of the hills are not very steep.
