Sunday, July 10, 2016

Alt Names

Sequoia National Forest, Hume Lake Ranger District, Eshom Creek, Pierce Valley, Cherry Flat, Meadow Flat, Hartland

Last Known StatusOpen

This secluded area offers around 25 miles of old forest service roads that form long and easy loops. The terrain is mostly hardpacked and slightly rugged, making this a good choice for families or beginners.

Camping with direct trail access can be found at Eshom Campground, which is located at the northern part of the trail system. The campground has the standard amenities and can accomodate trailers up to 22 feet long. The southern staging area can be found off of Pierce valley Drive, but is much smaller.
