This motocross facility is open to the general public for practice on Wednesdays from 4pm to dark between the months of April through October. The property offers a 1.2 mile long loamy track with a concrete starting pad, stadiumcross track and night track.

Occasional CNYMRA District 3, WNYRacing and Upstate MX sanctioned races are held here, plus night racing on various Friday and Saturday nights.

While there is no ocean nearby, the name comes from a local who once stood on top of a hill at a nearby slate quarry and looked down at the valley below and saw low floating clouds resembling frozen ocean waves.
