This abandoned strip mine consists of about 20 miles of trails, steep hill climbs, deep pits and three motocross tracks. One track is for beginners and novices and one very challenging track is known as "Gravity Cavity".

The park is open year round but will close temporarily during and after bad weather or heavy rainfall. Riding is allowed from dawn to dusk and primitive camping is permitted. There is no fee required to ride or camp, but all vehicles must display an Iowa OHV sticker. Trails are well maintained and marked with some cool bridge crossings, thanks to the Bluff Creek Riders Association.

Once an old mining area, this property is now open to ATVs and dirt bikes. The park has about 15 miles of woods trails, several motocross tracks including a 1.5 mile main track, a safety training area, beginners area and ample parking. The park is roughly 300 acres however there are plans to expand to 1500 acres.

Camping is currently not permitted however there are plans to add a campground in the future. An Iowa DNR Sticker is required on each OHV and can be purchased at nearby Racing Unlimited. The park is generally open daily year-round but may close temporarily during and after bad weather. Be sure to say thanks to Webster County Wheelers for maintaining this area.

There is no fee to ride this area however a current Iowa registration sticker is required and DNR officers regularly patrol the area. Open to motorcycles, ATVs and UTVs, this area offers around 20 miles of tight woods and river bottom trails, small hills and dry creek beds to explore. There is no fee to ride however vehicles must display a Iowa DNR sticker. Be sure to thank the Iowa River OHV Club for maintaining these trails. Camping can be found at nearby Union Grove State Park which also offers boating and swimming opportunities.

This 125 acre riding area offers about 10 miles of woods trails, a tot lot and a practice track. The trails consist mainly of dirt and rock and wind with the flow of the land through the trees and along the shores of Rathbun Lake.

Park amenities include a vault toilet, two shelters with picnic tables, an unloading/loading dock, and a water faucet that is available April through November. Camping is not permitted at the OHV park itself however the lake has several full service campgrounds.

ATVs, dirt bikes and side by sides are permitted as long as they have a current Iowa registration. The park is open year round except during the spring thaw and after heavy precipitation. Frank's Bait and Tackle has basic supplies and gasoline. Hotels, and restaurants are all within a short driving distance.

Located at the beautiful Whispering Meadows Resort, this brand new park has about 10 miles of woods trails that border the scenic Maquoketa River with future plans to include adding more ATV trails. The area is open from 9am to dusk daily however reservations are required and can be made by calling (563) 357-3784. The property also offers cabin rentals, electric hookups for RVs, mountain bike and hiking trails and fishing holes.

Open daily from 7am to dusk, this 300 acre park sits on the banks of the Missouri River. Terrain mainly consists of loose dirt and sandy ATV trails with some whoops and several small sand hills. Due to flooding, the park recently opened back up in March 2012 thanks to the hard work of the River Valley Trail Riders.
