Print...This abandoned strip mine consists of about 20 miles of trails, steep hill climbs, deep pits and three motocross tracks. One track is for beginners and novices and one very challenging track is known as "Gravity Cavity". The park is open year round but will close temporarily during and after bad weather or heavy rainfall. Riding is allowed from dawn-dusk and primitive camping is permitted. There is no fee required to ride or camp, but all vehicles must display an Iowa OHV sticker. Trails are well maintained and marked with some cool bridge crossings, thanks to the Bluff Creek Riders Association. |

Print...This motocross track at one time consisted of all sandy sections with sandy whoops and primitive camping was allowed at no charge however the area is currently closed. Nearby riding alternatives include Lakeview OHV Park which features miles of woods and sand trails along with a motocross track and nearby camping opportunities. |

Print...Open to ATVs and motorcycles daily, this area offers miles of woods and sand trails, hill climbs, mud bogs and ravines along with a newly installed motocross track. There is no fee to ride this area however a permit is required and DNR officers regularly patrol the area. Out of state permits are sold at the nearby Casey’s General Store in Ely. Overnight camping is not permitted however nearby MacBride Reservoir offers numerous boat ramps, camping and swimming opportunities. |

Print...This large area has miles of scenic trails that wind through a beautiful forest and consists of mud bogs, deep water holes and steep hill climbs. Overnight camping is allowed and is $10/per night. A onsite winery and swimming hole is also available. A membership is required to ride on the trails and can be obtained by contacting the land owners. |
