How To Register OHVs in Idaho

Summary of the Idaho OHV Registration Requirements

In the state of Idaho, all dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs and custom vehicles which are not street legal (e.g. sand rails) must have an OHV registration sticker.

For Residents: As of January 1, 2010, the OHV registration sticker fee is now $12 and is required for all off-road vehicles.  The stickers can be purchased at most local shops and dealerships and online.

For Non-Residents:  Any off-road vehicle operated in Idaho must have either a current Idaho registration sticker or a current registration from the state in which the owner resides.

This video further explains the registration process and regulations.
