AZOP Star Valley Fury Fest 4hr Bike Team Race

The pine trees of Star Valley, Arizona, echoed with the roar of engines on April 13, 2024, as riders and teams gathered for the AZOP Star Valley Fury Fest 4hr Bike Team Race. This four-hour endurance race had competitors navigating through rugged terrain, dense forests, and challenging obstacles.

The racecourse offered a thrilling mix of technical sections, steep climbs, and hair-raising descents. Riders faced a variety of obstacles, including rocky terrain, fallen logs, and tight turns, keeping them on their toes throughout the race.

Under the clear Arizona sky, teams from across the region lined up at the starting line, their engines revving with anticipation. As the signal was given, riders burst into action, kicking up clouds of dust as they navigated through the dense pine forest.

Ironman Collin H finished on top of the podium ahead of Ironman Bare Foot and Ironman Below. For the expert class, Team Chicken Burgers were on top, just inching out Team Nut Trappers and Team Dirty Verde. The Sportsman class was dominated by Team Schneider Racing, ahead of Team Power Rangers and Team Executive Fire.

Team Yazzie won the Team Family No Mini ahead of Team Scootin’ Newton and Team Barumpro. The Team Family with Mini class was won by Team Tse Skizzie Racing, followed closely by Team Bixwolf Suspension and Team Cola. The Minis had the Muddy Maniacs coming out just ahead of Team Bird Racing. For the 35+ class, Team Werd Racing finished ahead of Team FCA MX and Team Tres Viejos. Team CBR was the lone team in the Senior 50+ Class. And for the Women’s teams, Team Colozona Chicas finished on top ahead of Team Young Guns and Team Speed Sisters.

After four hours of intense racing, Team Chicken Burgers emerged victorious, crossing the finish line just ahead of Team Nut Trappers who finished in 2nd, and Team Schneider Racing in 3rd overall. Their flawless performance and strategic pit stops propelled them to the top of the podium, earning them the title of champions in the AZOP Star Valley Offroad Challenge.
