Formerly known as I-5 MX, Quail Canyon Motocross Track has re-opened to the public after a period of closure and is now operated by the state in conjunction with the Hungry Valley SVRA Area.

The track is generally open for practice daily from 8am to 6pm but is closed on Wednesdays for maintenance and grooming. The property consists of a main, vintage and peewee track, plus direct access to the surrounding trails of Hungry Valley.

There is a large parking area but only a few gazebos, so bring your own shade.

1) Take I-5 south to Quail Lake Road exit
2) Turn right (west) off exit ramp, continue toward stop sign
3) Turn left (south) on Peace Valley Road, continue .8 miles
4) Veer right at sign for Quail Canyon Off Road Event Area, continue 1 mile
5) Veer right at fork (you will see a sign for Quail Canyon Off Road Area), continue 1 mile to track entrance.
