This part of the Sawtooth National Forest offers hundreds of miles of single track and ATV trails. Most of the trails are geared toward the more advance rider due to steep and narrow switchbacks. The Kelley Flat Staging Area offers access to the Iron Mountain Lookout Trail and a learners loop.

There are numerous trailheads and campgrounds to choose from but Baumgartner Campground is the most popular choice as it not only offers direct trail access but has hot springs and a natural swimming hole.
