This part of the George Washington State Forest offers about 30 miles of mostly novice friendly ATV trails that are open to offroad use from late spring through the end of November.

During the winter months snowmobiles are permitted on the trails. Trails are open to ATV use only and are mainly smooth and hard packed. Nearby Thistledew Lake Campground offers 23 sites and direct trail access.

6) Veer right at fork, continue toward the staging area.
