This large area was once open to OHV use but as of 2009 is only open to non-motorized use only. There are two gated entrances, both of which are locked during seasonal closures. There are no fees and primitive camping is prohibited. Nearby riding spots include Johnson Lane, Prison Hill and South Camp Peak Loop. This listing will remain up for historical purposes and to help prevent a wasted trip.
