Other Names

Jericho Lake, Jericho Mountain State Park, Jericho State Park, Ride the Wilds

Last Known StatusTemporarily Closed  (closed for mud season)

This state park offers 85 miles of ATV trails plus access to the Ride The Wilds Trail System. Most of the trails are marked and form nice long loops and are geared for casual riding. Most of the trails are rated as mostly easy, and is a good spot to bring the family or beginners.

The park recently added a designated 4x4 trail that takes at least several hours to complete. A fee is required to ride this trail and is limited to trucks, jeeps and rock crawlers. Visitors must check in at the office since the trail is gated. This trail has large obstacles, rock gardens and mud pits and is geared for skilled drivers. Vehicles must have a winch and modified tires.

A campground is available which has both tent and RV sites, cabin rentals, a day use area, swimming beach, pavilion, restrooms with hot showers, boat ramp plus direct trail access. The campground is seasonal and is generally open by mid May through October (exact dates vary). Reservations are recommended, especially during regular and holiday weekends.

The park is open daily for riding from 8am to dusk except during mud season, which usually begins around late March through mid May (exact dates vary). All OHVs must display a current New Hampshire OHRV Sticker.
