Alt Names

New Durham Trails, Devils Den Trail, Calvary Mountain Trail, Alton Bay, Lake Winnipesaukee, Merrymeeting Lake, Den Trails

Last Known StatusOpen

Maintained by the New Durham Valley ATV Club, this area has 28 miles of scenic trails that wind through thick woods and offer panoramic views of nearby lakes and mountains. The trails are open for day use only and camping is not permitted.

Note that the trails are geared for the experianced rider due to short but rugged climbs and lots of loose chunk rocks covering the trails.

There is no fee to ride but club membership is encouraged as all funds collected go back into trail maintenance. Club fees are around $15/person or $25/family.

The trails generally close for the season around January, however there have been a few years where the trails remained open. Check with the club for current trail status.
