This area was created by a cooperative effort between the county and some private land owners and offers a total network of around 600 miles of multiple use trails including a separate 144 acre play area.

A trail permit is required and upon purchase and a trail map is provided for no additional fee. ATVs must be registered and carry proof of insurance. Future plans include adding additional trails and play areas.

Lewis County is home to the Annual SNIRT Run, a snow and mud poker run usually held around mid April. The event is very popular, and usually attracts about 5,000 riders. Photo Submitted 4/15/2012 (Thanks!)
