Overlooking the south-western side of Lake Meredith and bordering the Canadian River, this area offers a wide variety of terrain that consists of wide trails with whoops, sand, mud and the occasional water crossing. This area is larger than nearby Blue Creek Bridge and is around 1,740 acres.

Camping is permitted and is free but is primitive. All vehicles must display the Texas OHV Decal which can be purchased at nearby motorcycle shops or online.

National Park Service ORV Permit

In addition to the Texas ORV Decal, a National Park Service ORV Permit is required when riding at Rosita Flats. The permit is free but the sticker can only be obtained by visiting the Lake Meredith National Recreation Area Office in Fritch, Texas. For more information call (806) 857-3151.
