Down South Offroad

Monday, May 13, 2019

Alt Names

San Jacinto River

Last Known StatusClosed

Bordering the San Jacinto River, this offroad park at one time offered 700 acres of woods trails, hill climbs, deep mud bogs and numerous small lakes to explore but is permanently closed and no longer open for riding. The property even had a beach area, which made for a nice place to cool off after a day of riding.

Primitive camping was permitted and choices ranged from standard tent sites to lake front spots. Nearby Xtreme Off-Road Park and Beach is just a few minutes away which features similar terrain plus camping.
