The Tamaracks OHM Trail

Wednesday, August 14, 2019

Other Names

The Tamaracks OHM Trail, Wisconsin

Last Known StatusOpen

This trail system is currently in the first of three phases of development. Phase 1 will have a total of 8 miles of trails that can be enjoyed by both rookie and advanced riders. Phase 2 will have a new feel and design while Phase 3 will add a "Hero Section" that will target the advanced rider.

The main staging area is open for day use only but camping is located a short distance away at Tamarack Springs Campground. The campground is surrounded by mature trees and features a camp host with nine primitive sites spread along both sides of a trout stream (six on the north side and three on the south side). Each site comes with a picnic table and fire ring, and a vault toilet and hand water pump are onsite. The campground is open May through October (weather permitting) and sites are first come, first serve.

This area is also ATV and UTV friendly. Mix it up and spend a week dirt biking, hiking, ATV and UTV riding, cycling, fishing and more!

Be sure to give a shoutout to the Land Over Dualsporter's Club for these awesome new trails!
