This part of the Bridger-Teton National Forest has about 20 miles of ATV trails. The riding season is short and motorized use is permitted around mid July through mid October. Camping can be found at the nearby Sacajawea Campground. The trails are also popular with mountain bikes and horseback riders.

1) Take US-89 south about 15 miles
2) Turn left (south-east) onto Smiths Fork Road, continue about 6 miles
3) Turn left to stay on Smiths Fork Road, continue 17.5 miles
4) Turn right (east) onto Lander Cutoff, continue 2.4 miles
5) Continue straight to stay on Lander Cutoff, continue 5.2 miles
6) Turn left (north) onto FS Road 46, continue 7 miles
7) Turn left to stay on FS Road 6, continue 9 miles
8) Turn right (west) onto FS Road 6/Middle Piney Road, continue about 4 miles (or continue 2 miles toward Sacajawea Campground)
9) Trailhead is on the left (west).
